Worst customer service ever!
Good day.
I was held at gunpoint, on Wednesday the 17th of January. ALL my personal belongings and details, were taken from me. ID book, drivers license, bank cards, account numbers, my childrens bank cards, RCS card, Makro card, Medical aid card, the cash I had in my purse, EVERYTHING! The ********* even have my home address and any and all pictures I have of my kids from when they were born.
I was pulled out of my car, with a gun to my cheek.
This is beyond stressful! They pulled my chain of my neck, and searched my body for more jewellery. They also took my car key, which is over R10 000 to replace.
I phoned RCS, this morning, to have my debit order details changed. I managed to open a new bank account via online banking. My old account has been frozen, because the ********* have all my details and could figure out a way, to ***** my money. This also means, that I do not have access, to any of the money, in that account, because it's frozen. I do not have access to my own money!
I have a clean credit record where I sit today.
RCS refuses to change my debit order details, to my new bank account number. I was told, that the debit order, will go off the old account, get returned, and then be listed with the credit burea, for non payment. This, after I phoned RCS, for help to change the debit order details.
They will only assist me, if I send through my ID(******) and bank statements of my NEW account(3 days old). I can't get a new ID, because my money, is stuck in my bank account! They also won't accept my ID, with my ****en name on, along with my marriage certificate or a certified copy, of my current ID?
I passed all the security questions asked over the phone, but still they insist on documents, that I do not have and can't get, in a hurry.
I find this extremely unfair/stressful/rediculous! I'm trying to fix my problem but, RCS won't assist me.
My life is a living hell, at the moment! Panic attacks and doctor's visits, that I can't pay for. You would think, that in a country like South Africa, where these things happen daily, people would have some form of protocol in place, for situations like this?
I had no problems phoning any of my other service providers and changing debit order details.
