Watch out for RCS cards Pick n Pay in store account

I wish to warn consumers about the RCS card Pick n Pay in store account and card. This is a loan account. I was misled by the saleslady as I told her I do NOT want a loan account as I have sufficient funds. She said the card has other benefits which I would enjoy and I do not have to take a loan. Now when I log on to finalise the application I see that loan of R 30 00 has been quoted with a 12 month repayment period at 20 % PA starting from January. I now have to go back and cancel this mess. It is clear that the sales pitch is misleading and the company is trying to get people to take loans. Watch out !
