Thieving tactics

I chatted to an agent in the first week of June to advise I had been retrenched in Jan yet still made payments. They advised I was covered under the protection policy in which I sent every requested doc on the 10th of June and was promised that the claim will be finalized within 15 days of receipt.. The docs were sent again after a month and a bit as the said there collections dept does not know the claims depts correct address yet they gave me the exact same one. On the 28th of August I recieve a mail to say my claim is almost finalized and I should just forward my retrenchment letter which by the way was attached the 2 previous times but sent it again anyway. In this 3 MONTH period I recieved over 40 calls requesting payment yet not a single call from claims then come this Saturday I receive an sms to say that my protection policy has been canceled as I have not made payment. This is ********** ******* from a financial service provider with one of the most disgusting tactics I have ever seen not to pay a claim. Legally my claim is legit as the policy was in effect in June when the claim was lodged.

Telephonic and email has not worked in 3 months. What makes you think it will work today with you pre populated mail that you send to every customer on here. I want answers within 24 hours or else this because a case on the desk of the financial ombudsman as well as the media. I've seen the same situation with so many people on here and it's clearly evident that it's a ********** tactic not to pay out the claims.
