To whom it my concern, On the 4th of September 2017, I app**** for a RCS and it was approved within minutes . I then received sms after sms followed by a phone call to let me know that my card had been approved, but not telling me where to go and collect my card. The sms read congratulations your RCS card application has been approved. Please visit your nearest branch. No branch details were given. Even the gentleman that called me to tell me about my card never told me where to go and collect my card. So happily on Friday the 8th September 2017, I went to Tiger Wheel, Melrose, to replace my tyres only to be told that they don't hand out the RCS cards. So I then left, went home and called your Call Centre. I spoke to a supervisor who then gave me a list of places, namely Sportsman's Warehouse, Matrix Computers and Hi Fi Corp. I first went to Sportsman’s Warehouse, Park Meadows and they advised that they don’t give out RCS cards, only at big shops in shopping centers, then off I went to Matrix in the same centre and again was told that they do not give out RCS Cards. Finally I went to HiFi Corp, in the same center, finally a store that could give me a card, thinking that as the approval process was quick, receiving the card shouldn’t be a problem, well I was very wrong….. I walked into the HiFi store at 13h30 and after being pushed from pillar to post, only walked out of there at 15:50 ! - I find this totally unacceptable. 2.5 hrs to get a card that has already been approved ! On Saturday my wife went again to Tiger Wheel and paid with the RCS card. I then received an sms advising me that my card has been blocked and I must press 1. Apparently this is due to the amount swiped. I pressed 1 only to be cut off. I called back and spoke a service agent – the line was very bad and I could hardly hear what she was saying. It seems that I didn’t answer the security questions correctly, while I certainly appreciate the fact that the card should be blocked if questions were answered incorrectly – why was it blocked in the first place ? Surely at the time of swiping I should be called and not sent an sms. Not only was I inconvenienced for over 3 hours on Friday – I now need to go into a branch to have my card unblocked. On Saturday I also called to confirm banking details only to be told by the service consultant that she didn’t have those details and would get someone to send it to me. Email address given - still waiting for this information. I have to admit that I am most certainly not satisfied with the service received with regards to this whole process of being one of your Clients. Recommend that perhaps your call centre needs further training on how to advise new clients the correct processes on how and where to go to receive their cards without any inconvience.
