RCS's ********* Business Practice

I would like to take this opportunity to warn all RCS customers. This company has highly ********* practices in their accounts department. As soon as your account goes into arrears, no matter how small the arrears can be, RCS will start sending you what they call collection sms's, followed by a collection letter to remind you to pay your account. The problem here is that, they will send you 4 to 5 sms's within a space of a week, followed by a collection letter, all of which they charge for. By the time the month ends and you are in a position to pay the account and settle the arrears, you've already accumulated collection fees of over R50.00. The collection letter is charged @ R23.00, the collections sms @ R3.22 and the collections telephone call @ R25.00. This is over and above the interest they charge for the outstanding arrears amount. I don't know what others think, but in my view, this is extremely *********. RCS is using the arrears status of their customers to create an additional revenue stream for their organisation. I would like to know what other RCS customers have to say about this. Are they aware of this practice at all.
