Rcs refuses to close my game account

For the last three months I have been attempting to close my Rcs game account. I have contacted them numerous times to get the settlement amount this started at the end October 2019. They couldn't give me a settlement amount the first time I called as I had to wait for my debit order that they can see has been paid needs to clear . So I called 2 to 3 days later and got the settlement amount and paid it, after payment was done I had to wait 2 more business days before I can call and close the account. When I called I was informed I over paid and that I need to either have the money transferred by filling in forms that's a lengthy process or I can just purchase for the overpaid amount and have the account closed. So I used the excess amount they informed me to use just to have to wait 2 days again to close the account. After 2 days I saw on the game app the now I was plus minus R83 under paid. Frustrated I called again and informed Rcs I want the account closed and that I followed every step. Eventually the account was zeroed out and listed as paid up. I checked my bureau score regularly to track what was going on. To my shock to have my score dropped by 51 points cause rcs loaded some elses rcs account details that was 90 days in arrears onto my profile. I called compuscan and rcs and asked them to fix this( during this time my rcs game card still hasn't been closed its still just paid up). The arrears account was removed form my name on bureau but my score was still affected. I called rcs and compuscan again and got it fixed.

Come to the present my rcs game card still states its paid up not closed. I called them and asked for an account closure letter On the 10/01/2020 and was informed that an account closure letter is a paid up letter, I protested and the consultant said its the same thing and it will state the account is closed. I work in a bank so I know the difference between the two. On the 14/01/2020 I received the letter. But its a paid up letter not an account closure letter that I asked for and it doesn't state that its closed, it states its paid up.

I want my account closed, during the entire interactive I made it clear thats what I want and paid what was owed. Its not my fault rcs had all the issues. And on each event I made the effort to inform them of whats going on. At no point did they pick up any of the problems during the process of closing my account. Not once did they contact me.

I want my account closed and I want my account closure letter. *** I have sent this to the national credit regulator aswell as the national consumer commission.

I will continue to share my experience with rcs to everyone one I come across! I will post it on every social media even on rcs social media page if they have any
