RCS Reducing Credit Limit??

So I payed over R10k in last two weeks thinking my RCS account(as my only credit card) would be safe place during the pandemic. One morning I receive an sms saying my credit limit has been decreased... taking away the only funds I have access to during this difficult time.

Other creditors are decreasing min installments to support their clients during this time but RCS is taking away money from clients and leaving them empty handed during this time.

What about the spending percentage that is now higher since the credit limit has decreased? and this will reflect negatively on our credit score... but I guess you guys just don't care

Thanks for the response... I hope this response is unlike the one from the developers of the RCS app. They always say they gonna fix the app but they never do!

Hi

My complaint have not been resolved.

This was the response... "As per our Terms and Conditions, it provides us the ability to amend the credit limits granted at our discretion. The decision to reduce credit limits remains at the company’s discretion and at present there is no intention to reduce your credit limit further"

All I hear here is that its RCS's money and there is nothing (as clients) that we can do about it.

Thanks for letting me know that as a Creditor, While we not making income due to the pandemic, You have power over us and you can anything you want.
