RCS possible ***** on prescribed debt

I am writing this review to warn other consumers.

RCS have started a new division called EDC, they are using this division to list consumers for written off accounts, these accounts mysteriously appear on your name on the credit bureau updated (so far only on Experian). They falsify information on this listing (effectively this is *****) thereby indicating that this very old (9+yrs account and written off) has had a recent payment 'in the last year'.

When you query the account they want an Affidavit confirming you have never had an account with RCS, I suspect they are exploiting consumers and this is entrapment.

I will be contacting a lawyer to identify my rights and whether I can take RCS to court, which i dont mind.

Hi RCS
When can I expect feedback on this issue. At this point my credit record is being negatively affected by the listing on Experian.

Hi RCS,
I still have not received any update on this issue except for the potentially vanilla response which was added to this review. I suspect that response was to put me at ease which it has not. I am waiting on a response. Failing that I will be forced to contact my lawyer. All costs will be for RCS's account, i'll make sure of that.

I have now requested the legal contact details for RCS from their client services division, this is via the complaints email address. I have gotten no solid reply from RCS and this is *******.

I am forced to contact a lawyer to do what is necessary.

I will keep this review updated as things progress.

Just an update on this. I am confirming that RCS are not providing me with the contact details for their legal department, I have requested via email and telephony. Seems they are dodging this issue. I will update once the formal legal process is underway.

Update: I have requested all the ********** entries RCS have added to my credit profile from different credit bureau's in order to provide this to the ombudsman. Once I get a response I will update this to help others.

Today, which is more than a month after discovering this ********** listing I have pulled a fresh report. The listing has been removed by RCS, I dont really care why but this entire episode does not reflect well on RCS or their management. Not a single phone-call was made to apologize for what happened, yet i called them 5 times to discuss the same issue.
