RCS Pick n Pay account *****

RCS, you are dropping the ball with POPIA and customer satisfaction and keeping customers safe!!! On 31.03.2022 FIVE transactions went through on my Pick 'n Pay store account which I barely use. The limit on my account is R30,000.00 - somehow, these people knew exactly for how much they're able to use my account, they even went over the credit limit! What baffles me is how my contact number was changed? Surely there must be more precautions put in place to verify someone? 1. My contact number was changed so I couldn't receive notifications 2. My card was not blocked as stated in your T's & C's when you suspect ********** activities 3. Based on historical patterns, why didn't this flag the system: the first transaction made by this *********/imposter, was for an amount of R20,279.28 (much higher than any purchase ever made by me) at PnP Northgate (a location I never visit) - how did this transaction go through whilst my card was in my possession? 4. Three other transactions made at PnP Radiokop. - Still my card is not blocked 5. The last transaction made at PnP Meadowlands - SOWETO !!!??? - Still not blocked. FYI - Nondumiso at the ***** department was very helpful yesterday in providing transaction details and sending me the dispute form.

A settlement letter was sent to my junk email, a folder I barely check, the emails between me and customer services now seem quite ***** and I am brave enough to state I believe this to be an internal leak of information.

You need to up your game. I sent through supporting documents yesterday. I followed up today as no agent phoned me as yet. Now I'm told it takes between 7 and 21 working days - surely by then these ****** have ****med numerous other people already. You need to move more swiftly with ***** cases. 1. Contact the stores where ********** activities took place & go through the purchase records, go through CCTV footage (if available). 2. Surely the *****'s number is RICA'd - run a check on the credentials. 3. Follow up with all staff who had interacted and assisted with these transactions. 4. Check your online server to see if it has been hacked, because I know I logged on only to view my statement.

I see there are numerous open ***** cases related to RCS. As soon as this has been sorted out, I intend on closing this account completely as I no longer feel safe. Those ****** probably have my address.

I expect an answer and thorough investigation to start IMMEDIATELY.

Regards, Eurika

This is a **** show! One month down the line, no feedback on my case. I'm sick of this!
