RCS - ***** and *******
I made an arrangement to pay an arrears amount to RCS after they refused to activate my retrenchment insurance, having lost my job to COVID
RCS then hands my account to a collecting attorney in the middle of the arrangement, all the while taking the agreed upon amount from my bank account.
I call in (5-10 times) to rectify. Finally speak to a Manager. The Manager makes a special debit order to clear all arrears amounts in May 2021. Debt order goes off in May 2021. The debit order still has not reflected on RCS accounts. They take a second arrears debit order on July, since the first one does not reflect even though RCS created it.
Now after having paid them ~R5 000, having cleared an arrears on 2 separate occasions, I'm still in arrears. All attempts to contact RCS end on a miserable failure. First responders on the call centre are unable and unwilling to help. Attempts to speak to supervisors ring out. Requests for a call back via call and email are ignored.
Is this how RCS functions with a Financial Servicer Provider framework. Effectively *****ing since they don't reflect legitimate payments they create and ignoring the responsibility to remedy their error? This level of customer service is disgraceful
