RCS insurance claims

Good day.I have an rcs black and orange credit card which I have been using for a some years.In 2018 I got retrenched from my job and did not claim for an insurance payout from rcs as I found another temp job right after being retrenched as a Locum dental assistant and was able to make monthly payments and never missed any payments till now. But due to the covid 19 issue,we had to stop working immediately as it's a private clinic. I haven't been receiving any income since last month.So I called rcs to make a claim on the insurance payout but I was told I don't qualify anymore since I didn't claim immediately right after my retrenchment at my previous permanent job. So I asked the consultant to then cancel my insurance since its of no use to me and not able to benefit from it and he said it's not possible but a must to have it. Then hung up on me! Since RCS can't assist me with my insurance payout,I don't see the necessity of having an insurance that cant help me when my income is gone. I want rcs to therefore cancel the insurance since its of no use to me. Adding it to my monthly installments is a plain *******! It would be very nice if you would workshop your consultants on manners and patience,as they are rude,insensitive and impolite when a customer is in need of serious help. Attend to my matter ASAP!!
