Rcs credit insurance, Game store card battle to receive extension on insurance while unemployed

I was initially temporarily laid off without pay and retrenched end August. I find it pathetic that game despite receiving my insurance claim still has the audacity to charge me interest on my balance. My claim was approved until end December however I'm still not working. What the heck am I supposed to do in January? I've submitted my bank statements and id as suggested but no one has responded about January payment. Why isn't the insurance covering my installments? Why is it my job to fight every month for this insurance to payout!?
