RCS / CPI claim for self employed - doesn't happen

RCS is not even deserving of the one star. The issue I have had with RCS dates back to March 2020 already, so it has been ongoing for months with no answer on the claim except threats from RCS. It's a very long story, but the crux of the story is I'm 'trying to submit a loss of income claim via their Customer Protection insurance when I'm self-employed'. My line of business has been government gazetted (DSD). that we are not allowed to return to work until the lockdown is finished, so I have not been able to work since the shutdown of pre-schools on the 18th of March 2020. RCS just about never reply to emails (except for the automated responses) or give a phone call on your claim progress, they do however do phone calls to collect the outstanding money and send threatening SMS messages saying they'll cancel my customer protection insurance if the balance is not paid; the very insurance that I am making a claim against for loss of income!! Basically if you have loan with RCS and you have customer protection insurance and you are self employed in this pandemic/ lockdown you are *****ed and insurance companies and loan companies are reluctant to pay out the claim/s - they require me to sequestrate the company in order to make a valid claim because I haven't been retrenched byvthe company, because I'm self employed - but I've been government gazetted not to be allowed to return to work until the lockdown is finished. This will definitely be escalated to the Ombudsman. Tired of the BS self employed need to go through to submit valid loss of income claims against any form of loan / credit!
