RCS cotton;on purchase

I don't understand why RCS offers these services where you can use yo card example checkers60 When it's tested and proved to be working perfectly. I used my cotton for checkers60. The payment failed and I tried three times. Everytime I tried to pay I did not receive the OTP number. But yo my surprise the money is deducting in my account. Why would the transaction go through but I did not receive the OTP and also the payment has failed on checkers side. Please explain. R1500 deducted but transaction had failed Why are you doing this.
