RCS can unwittingly help ********* get to your information

Be warned, be careful. They hold little or no protection against *****, and in so doing, they offer no protection of the privacy of your information. ********* can get to your information through them. I obtained a quotation from Coricraft on furniture - no detail given other than my name, email and telephone number. An ************ staff member of Coricraft then app**** for a RCS account on my name. Somehow, RCS must have linked it to previous information they have on me, and then app**** to my bank (Nedbank) for bank statements. All this without my consent. This is *****, and against the POPI Act, which comes into effect on 1 July 2021. Please be warned and be careful. They are supposed to be responsible. When I called RCS for information and assistance they failed to assist me as you have to go through a call centre who is inundated with queries and therefore they are not interested in you at all. All of a sudden everyone is unsure of what happened and has no information on this. Watch your back people. Protect your information!!
