*** is my business not wanted

I called into the call centre today and was informed I do not qualify for an credit limit increase. Initially when I did my first application, I was told the low amount was due to the fact that I had no credit history something I have been building up and also adding that I have never missed not one payment with RCS account. The account which I app**** for this card is a joint account between my husband and I he pays R25000 a month and in addition to that there is over 40 000 going into that account on a month to month basis. With no other expenses besides my internet and truworths how can you consultant tell me I can’t afford an increase

None of the accounts in my name is arrears, I was assured apon application that and increase would be possible.

I expect this matter to be dealt with a sense of urgency calling your call centre has resulted in endless calls being dropped. At this rate I might as well close this account and go to someone who is actually capable of helping me. I know of people receiving R5000 a month with higher credit. That goes against the consumers right. I need more than being told by a consultant that’s what the app says

Good Day,
This is unacceptable, I have emailed logged a formal complaint and am yet to receive any feedback regarding this matter. I need to be contacted my a manager or supervisor because quite frankly I refuse to spend a R100 and a time to speak to a consultant who has absolutely no clue what is going on.

In addition to all the information above I’m more than happy with RSC pulling the call I had when I initially app**** for this card where clearly it was stated that the amount given is low now because you taking a chance considering I have no credit history. Now to be told I can’t afford it when in actual fact I took other accounts (Truworths) to ensure I build my credit hostory and I have never missed a single payment with RCS to ensure you guys are capable of seeing that I am indeed an exceptional payee. I don’t see myself turning myself a blind eye or just accepting the incompetence received being told I can’t afford it what a joke!!!!

I can’t begin to fathom how an application tells you what I can afford and consultants tell me they can’t explain because that’s what the app says RCS needs to address this today before I go to app social media platforms and include the consumers right act when applying for credit
