Impossible to change banking details at Edgars.
I left the following review for Edgars. It was never even looked at or answered. Edgars completely ignore all the complaints on hello Peter, and this was already posted on 10 August:
Difficult to change debit order details. Poor communication
I am trying to change my debit order de- tails. Which seem impossible. I went to a shop and they said I must call. Then I logged in online and there are no op- tions for changing payment details. Then I phoned and after a ling time of entering ID nr and Card number and waiting I cane through to an agent.with a lot of voices and noise in the background.
I explained to the agent that I need to change my debit order. She apparently didn't hear what I was saying (consider- ing all the loud talking in the background Incan understand). I explained again. The the call was dropped.
I finished my air time. And can't call back again.
Should my debit order fail, this is a no- tice that I did try to update my new bank details.
So I tried my best to change my banking details. If the payment is going to be attempted to be taken from the wrong bank account again, Edgars can't hold me responsible for any late payment fees, charges or intersts. And I will hold them responsible for banking fees as well. I tried three different ways to get my debit order changed but it was not possible. And this is why I hate debit orders. Now I request the debit order rather be cancelled and let me pay via EFT monthly.
Your missed payment on your EDGARS account will be recorded at the credit bureau and will reflect negatively against your name, Pay R10.00 today
What is this a joke or spam?

I don't know how this happened then. But I know that you tried to take a debit order from my old bank account at Nedbank while In changed to Capitec.
And since 25 July I've been battling to get RCS to change my banking details and one can't do it online and it seems that RCS refuse to do it during a telephonic conversation.
I spent hours on the phone without success. Was also told to change details at Edgars store, but all the Edgers store could do is phone RCS and I was back to square 1. Therefore I ask and instruct RCS now in writing that you cancel any debit orders on my account and from now on I will rather pay my installment at the shop, as returning debit orders cost me money and fees and your following sms that I didn't pay and you will inform the credit bur makes me annoyed as I know I did my part several times in trying to get you to update my detail but still deducting from the wrong account.
So please cancel the debit order.
