Horrific ordeal - left me stranded.
I went to replace the tyres on my car on the 18/05/15. When it was time to make the payment, my card wouldn't swipe, the lady at the front desk phoned RCS to do a manual payment, while on the line with Thulani from RCS he said my card was to old and that it would be blocked. We begged to allow this one purchase, then he could block it. May i mention that the week before i paid the full balance on the card, (it worked fine),my balance was R0.00 and credit available was R5000.00. This didn't help me at all, as the sale would not be put through on my RCS card.

I was then told the only way i would be able to purchase using RCS is if i got a new card, so off i went to,not one, but 8 different stores, but no one would issue a new card. The first two stores i walked to myself at the age of 68 ?n an industrial area. After no one would help me with a new card i phoned RCS to speak to a supervisor, i was put on hold for 45mins, so i hung up. R150 later.

I ended up paying cash for the tyres. I'm a pensioner. That was my \bread and butter'' money.
Without warning RCS put me in not only an embarrassing situation
