***** IS RIFE AT RCS

I was contacted telephonically by the "attorneys" regarding an outstanding debt that was handed over for a loan that was apparently taken out on my name. (which shocked me) . I contacted the customer services department for further information and lodged a dispute with the ***** department in March this year. I supp**** them with all the required documentation including the bank statements which confirm that no such amount was paid into my bank account for the period as they confirm . The investigator calls these summary statements. To date I have been given the run around and nobody including the ***** department can supply me with details of their legal department which the investigator says is on the second floor of their building. Be careful when you open an account with any company as they ***** your identity and personal details and sell it. Most ***** is committed within the bank and lending institutions.

Reviewer Update
Firstly, there has been no matter resolved as I have not been provided with any amicable solution to my complaint. The initial post that RCS responds to a review posted similar to the one above is that the matter has been escalated. When enquiries are made as to who is dealing with the issue nobody seems to know. You are then fed with a whole lot of hogwash and then another response is posted as a smokescreen as if the matter has been attended to and resolved and that the customer is happy. I have still not provided with contact details for the legal department and only yesterday (08.07.2018) was given the e-mail address , legal ********** and my attorneys are expected to send correspondence to the Corner of Voortrekker and Van Guard Drive, RCS Building, Goodwood and then pray it reaches the hands of the appropriate person /persons. The investigator has given me the notion that that the bank statements provided by me are false yet he is not prepared to put this down in writing or provide me with a written confirmation that the loan amount was transferred into my account with the details or even a proof of the transaction that it was paid into such account. I am prepared to fly to Cape Town and go with the investigator to the bank and draw the statements to confirm the transaction as they say but should it prove that the money was not transferred into my account then RCS must foot the bill for my expenses incurred. The investigator refuses to provide me with a copy of the loan contract or recordings of the call when the loan was taken out yet this is an legal obligation to any customer taking out the loan. He says that I must apply for a section 205 via the court to obtain same. (Stupid, does not know the law). The entire RCS system seems to be flawed as there is no collaboration within the various departments and more importantly loans and cards granted are not processed in accordance with the National Credit Act and proper procedures are not followed. Staff employed at RCS do not know where the legal department is based or even how many RCS Offices there are or number of floors within the buildings where they are based. There is no transparency within the administration staff as the legal department is portrayed as some "secret service department". A matter such of this nature needs to be exposed via the media and maybe the Carte Blanche team should be contacted to carry out an investigation and a "well known lending company"such as RCS be exposed. Let them have a "field day" with RCS. I am almost certain that should this happen there will be a number of people who will respond having experienced issues of a similar nature as mine. I am not afraid of RCS. It has been confirmed by someone in a supervisory position that staff were told to give me the run around. I have records of calls made to the various people including date and time and the calls are also recorded on my side throughout my enquiry regarding this issue. I am still awaiting feedback as to how this matter was resolved from customer care as there is no note made on system as to the how this was done and by whom.
