I have paid my rcs balance in full on the 21st of September when making the payment i made a mistake with one number i had to go yhrought the process of allocating the payment to the correct account which went smoothly now i called in because i wanted to close my account only to hear that in order for me to close my account i must wait to be charged interest on the 12 of october meaning i myst wait to pay something thats pending really?

The agent saud to me they bill accounts on the 12th of every month meaning on the 12th of September they did Bill thier interest and on the 21st i paid today its the 10th of october i want to close my account but they say i must wait to pay interest, my question is interest of what balance because the account is paid up before the 12th of the current month?

Please help me understand this and if its legal fir them to do this. Thank you Peter
