I took out a loan of R20 000 with RCS a while back. When I enquired about a settlement amount a month later I was quoted R20 963,19 which I paid IN FULL within 24 hours. Last month, however, R200 was deducted from my bank account by RCS. I contacted my bank (Capitec) and had the transaction reversed. I then contacted the RCS Loan Department and was told that the deduction was a mistake and was assured that my account had been paid in full. However, 2 weeks ago I was contacted again and informed that there was still a balance of R200 to be paid on my account. I explained to the lady that I had paid the full outstanding amount of R20 963,19 that was quoted to me. She informed me that the account was to be placed under investigation and that the balance on the account would be \frozen"pending the outcome of the investigation. She also said that they would pull the recordings of the telephonic coversation of which I was quoted the said amount and that they would keep me posted. Today (2015-10-07)"
