Credit insurance and Collection fees

RCS increased my outstanding card facility amount by adding to it collection fees and credit insurance. How can you have a client pay R183 a month on a loan but during the month you levy monthly fees of R48, insurance of R4 and collection fees of R49.59 - not mentioning the R15.29 interest? So to reduce my account balance I paid R66.

How can RCS levy a collection fee based on their own methods to collect on the account? If you sms a client once, how can you charge the person another 5 times for the smses which you decided you are going to send the person? And what collection method receives preference - you sms me 10 times, phone me once (get hold of me) and then you levy the fees, how do you know the smses were successful (becuase they were not).

Surely the NCR should look into the way RCS collects, levy fees on loans and reseaonability of their monthly fee versus loan amount. My opening balance was R1141.70 and RCS levies R48 (4% of balance) as a monthly fee.
