Angry as hell!!!!!!!

My payment did not go through in December due to insufficient funds, however, I made a plan and paid my Pick 'n Pay Store Account via EFT today and contacted them via the telephone number that had been provided to me via SMS. A couple of hours later, I received another SMS to let me know that my account had been passed over to Collections. I then struggled, but eventually managed to get hold of them via the number that had been provided to me in this Collections SMS. I had to phone a couple of times before I managed to get through to someone. I let the lady know that I was very upset that my account had been passed onto Collections in the first place as this was the first time my debit order had not gone through. She then explained that although I had paid the full amount that was due as at end December 2020, that I had to pay my installment for January 2021 as well before I could use my store account again. Why?!?!?! I am very upset at this and have decided that I will go hungry before ever using this store account again and have since cut up my card so that I cannot use it. Why should I pay the January 2021 installment before I can use my account???? Doesn't make sense to me!!! This is just a warning to others wanting to open a store account. Be warned!!!!!!!!!!!!
