ACCOUNT PAID UP - R0.00 CREDIT??
Due to unemployment, I was unable to pay my RCS card for some time. I did, however, request them to freeze the account until further notice. On Thursday, I was able to pay the entire outstanding balance on the card. After having spoken to the call centre, they assured me the card would then be active once again. On Saturday, once again, I phoned the call centre to make sure they received the monies and to find out whether the card is now active. Once again, i was informed the monies were received and the card is indeed active. I went to PicknPay thereafter to purchase some groceries. When at the till, after trying to pay with my RCS card, they informed me the transaction was declined (twice). Today, upon trying to retrieve my RCS balance and credit info, it staes I have R0.00 credit and that the card has been suspended. two questions, 1) Why did not one of the call centre agents inform me the card is suspended/? and 2) Why after having paid the outstanding balance am i unable to make use of this card?? I hope this matter received urgent attention.
