Appalling Service from Rcs Paving

I paid R20 000 deposit for paving installation to Rcs paving mid December 2018 & was promised delivery before festive closure or 1st week January due to the holidays. In December Richard the owner, told that the bricks were ready but wet so they will only deliver when they open in January which I understood. In January after many enquiries about delivery finally a portion of pavers was delivered on Friday 18th Jan. To my surprise, the pavers were not up to standard and consists of too many rejects. I complained about this and had to go the suppliers yard to identify what I wanted but to my surprise there were no pavers ready for my delivery as suggested in December. I was angry and demanded we cancel the arrangement. Richard threatened me with a 50%cancelation fees. His supplier convinced me that they will replace my pavers with good quality ones and I agreed. The last delivery was made 11 February 2019 & I have decided to cancel for installation. Now Richard is claiming that I owe him 6000 and wanted my work address so he can send the invoice with the sheriffs. he is harassing me at my work place & on whatsapp to pay him immediately or he will be collecting the bricks and I'm liable for 50% cancellation fees even though he is the one who was not honest and did not deliver on time as promised.

Richard runs his business on whatsapp and does not respond to emails. he treats customers with disrespect and will call you and shout at you like he is shouting at his child. I stopped taking his call for this reason but he managed to find my work telephone number and continues to harass me. Paving is delivered in small batches as over 5 or 6 batches for a what he claims is a 190 sq while the supplier said is 160. I advise anyone who is considering this company to run with their money.
