I have an Edgars store card with approximately R10 000 credit.. I decided to draw out some cash and called the RCS call centre.. What I heard was absolutely amazing,well at least to me.. I was told that I don't qualify because my credit score of 628 is below the 650 required..

Now hold on.. I am not asking RCS for credit.. I've already qualified for it..

RCS.. I can now walk into Checkers, Game, Makro..etc and blow the entire 10K.. Will they turn my purchase down.. Not a chance.. Will I be a risk.. Definitely not.. But I ask for you to transfer R3K and I don't qualify..Is this the nonsensical garbage you feed your clients with

In my humble opinion , you flout this CASH ADVANCE feature , when in actual fact I think that it doesn't suit your business model...why else would you set the minimum requirement to 650, for credit that's already available.. And the audacity of the agent to say that the minimum requirement was 680... Really..that's what you teach them

I'm sure with a score of 628, i could easily apply to many FSP's and get approval of R3000 quiet easily..

Edgars...or RCS whoever the real culprit is...your timing is not good in messing with clients just after this ********** pandemic and you could easily lose a customer who has been with you'll for almost 32 years...not because of R3000 but because of these ********* practices
