Broken portal, unauthorised robo-calls will drive you insane

I have always received a payment reminder sms as well as a statement e-mail for my various RCS cstore accounts. I have never had issues (besides with RCS's web portal itself, which has been broken for almost 3 years now with poor excuses from the call center when you try to follow up.

I have recently went through the trouble of registering on each of my store card portals so that I can track my statements as I suddenly did not receive all my usual e-mails. The frustration is that you cannot simply register on RCS's portal and see all your accounts, you need to register on each store's RCS portal individually with a separater login and password which is immensely stupid and time consuming....

About 4 months ago the freaking robo-calls started as well. I was NOT notified that payment reminder calls will be put in place. I have NOT authorized receiving these calls either. I have phoned the call center who initially said they will deactivate the calls, the next payment period came and the calls were still not cancelled. I spoke to tha call center again who apologised for the inconvenience and stated that "many people say that they do not receive the smses and e-mails so we want to make sure their accounts do not go into arrears". I am NOT one of those people and yet again stressed that I did NOT authorise this string of calls that waste my time and could potentially lead to me missing actual important calls. I was told to "block the numbers" which I have done multiple times, but clearly their system reroutes outbound calls to numbers that have not been blocked yet.

I called customer service again last month and my complaint was "escalated", I received another apology, another lame explanation and an excuse that this is "just a campaign we are running, there have been many complaints about it", but no actual timeline or resolution to the problem.

Even though the store cards are great, prepare yourself to be harrassed by unauthorised robo-calls monthly with no actual support from customer service to make using RCS a pleasant experience.
