Giving the client all the information

I just bought a House with RBA, and recently moved in to my New home :) but now when i went to City of Johannesburg to check for my monthly municipal fees, I found out that im owing more than R3000 :( n i asked how did this amount came to this amount, I found out that the Municipal fees were charged from the day after the Bond registration, But why was I not told about this? I belive that the consultant of RBA were supposed to tell me/their clients that after the Bond registration you will have to go and Pay monthly fees in the Munucipalty offices because now the amount is too much and it will affect my income. I feel that we are not provided with all the information that we are supposed to. I was not even aware that I had to go there first and request my statements. I mean im a firstime Home owner, there's a lot of things that im not aware and if someone doesnt provide me with the information, i wont know, then ill end up owing a lot of money, but this can be avoided by proving more information to your clients, we are not saying print papers for them nor make sessions for us, but we can avoid big debts by just being provided with all the neccessary information.

Hello Portiam10,
