Disappointed for Days

Good Morning Rba Homes,

It’s now officially over a year since my bond approval (22 July 2015). And we still haven’t moved in yet, not acceptable. The house is complete, we've signed the handover checklist.

I was onsite today and I decided to just go and check, and I was surprised to see that my neighbours have already moved in already and my house still doesn’t have electricity.

Just wanted to find out how long will this madness still go on for? And when will the electricity be installed?

from what i hear, from the date that the electrictiy gets installed, i need to another 3 months before i move in, pathhetic, i regeret my choices, so i will i basically move in in december????????!!!!!!.

No one ever replies or call back until you start complaining, and when they do, you can’t really find the info useful, cause its the same info everday... repetition . I know more about the site than them. I regret my choices, and am still forced to pay rental even though my house is complete. not happy at all, this kind of waiting is really not on for me.
**********
********** 500

Reviewer Update

Thank you for contacting me 3weeks ago, but since then an occupational certificate still hasn’t been issued.

Here are my main issues currently:

· I need to find a reliable crèche, a primary and a high school for my kids around crystal park.

· I still need to give a month’s notice at my current complex.

But I can only do all the above mentioned when I know everything outstanding on the house has been sorted out by RBA, but time is running out on my side.

It pains me to know it’s been 1 year 2 months and still not much progress at all, and no set date as to when we can move in. As for calling the call centre, doesn’t help since I know more than them or no one answers and they never call back.

Regards,
NCK
