Raytri Home Service ****

Background: I required the services of a carpenter to assist with the installation of a ceiling and new flooring boards. I posted a request on Bark seeking a suitable contractor.

Engagement Process: I was contacted by Brian from Raytri Home Service, who visited my property in person to assess the work and provide a quotation. After discussing the scope of work, we agreed on a price, and I proceeded to pay a deposit of R5,500 to secure the job.

Issues Encountered: Following payment of the deposit, the agreed work did not commence. Initially, I was informed that the team experienced unforeseen circumstances which delayed their arrival on site. Communication was maintained briefly during this period.

However, after a few weeks, communication from Brian and his team ceased entirely. No further updates were provided, and the team did not arrive on site to begin the work as agreed.

Current Situation:

Deposit of R5,500 has been paid No work has been carried out Communication has stopped No resolution or refund has been offered

Conclusion: The experience has been unsatisfactory due to non-delivery of services and lack of communication after payment was made. The matter remains unresolved at this stage.
