Raycom Consulting - a ****?!

I strongly suspect that this company is a ****. I was assured that I was short-listed for a post that I app**** for, under their 'umbrella company', TransArch. They insisted on hard copies of all my documents, ID, qualifications, etc. as well as a cash amount to do all the necessary background checks. I have yet to hear back from them, and investigations into the company have left me cold. I am extremely concerned with regard to identity theft, as this is a very real threat globally. Further internet searches also revealed that I'm not the first person to complain about them, and when looking on their website, I was further alarmed that there are no contact details of any sort on their site either.
