Ray-ban special *****s not kept in stock?

I purchased a pair of Ray-ban reading glasses frames (Model RX 8091) from Spectacle Warehouse in October 2014. 9 Months later one of the *****s on the side-arm fell out. I took the frames back to Spectacle Warehouse to be repaired - which I really thought would be quite a quick operation. Imagine my surprise when 2 days after seeing them I was told that the \part"has to be ordered from Italy"
