Great injustice done by forcefully vacating tenants

This is with the greatest devastating disappointment that I want to lodge complaint about the rental services rendered by Rawson Rental Property Agents in Paarl for the Property (house) at 41 Jacobs Street, Klein Nederburg, Paarl. I, Natasha Herandien, concluded this rental agreement with Rawson Rental property agents. This rental contract was honoured without failing since inception, 1 August 2022 until today 15 December , which is legal until 31 January 2023. However, the owners has contacted the Rawson agents to let them know they want to move back into their property almost 2 months ago. This was communicated to us as the tenants but it was merely a request and not official to move in, since there is a contract in place which expires 31 January 2023. It is very clear that the owners has ignored their contractual obligations and has started directly making contact with Ms N Herandien and start visiting the property without any appointment and began to making direct calls and insist on moving back by 13 December 2022. As the tenant this whole situation was communicated to Rawson Properties rental agents but it was very clear there were no effort made to stop or deal with the matter since the tenant had no alternative place to stay , which was also communicated clearly and since not in breach of contract the agency acknowledged it as well. Very sadly very devastating we were faced this morning (15 December)with the owners who came and told us they are here to move in the furniture truck is on it's way and they have no other way but to occupy the house. As family of 5, not having any alternative place to stay, the owners suggested that we move into a 2 bedroom next to the main house, which doesn't have the capacity to accommodate our furniture and comfort we had paid for in advance. Half of our furniture is on the stoep. Due to the fact that Rawson Properties agents were not available before 8:00, we were left at our own disgrace and had no other choice but to accept the offer from the owners by moving in next door. We are inconvenient and been embarrassed, humiliated severely with this whole situation. We had to pack up immediately and move our stuff, removed our cars parked outside the property, clean the place, while the owners were loading off their furniture. The tenant only recieved an email from Rawson Properties that they contacted their attorneys and we as tenants should call the police. It is clear Rawson Properties rental agents removed themselves from the situation and left us on our own with no support, evidently showed they do not care at all. Since if it is there area of service with us as their clients, they should at least have shown up or attempt to deal with the owners. As far as the rental contract is concern we are not in bridge of the contract, but our rights in this regard has been completely violated and abused. The whole family especially children has been emotionally disturbed and disrupted as we have planned ourselves over this month to some rest, which is time of peace to experience. Rawson Properties rental agents is directly responsible for this mess and disruption we found ourselves in and it is pathetic and disgusting. Rawson Properties is a credible well known established business in South Africa but failed dismally and has demonstrated that their clients they serve are not respected and dealt with dignity. It is also clear since we are clients of colour Rawson Properties, treat us not better even in new dispensation of a new democracy where people dignity is been acknowledged and honour.
