After trying and failing to get assistance from other mortgage originators (and a nightmare experience at ABSA), Theresa De Villiers from Rawson Finance was a godsend. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and was able to negotiate with the banks and secure the full amount and a lower interest rate. As a South African working abroad in a non-English speaking country, the supporting documents required by the banks, pose the greatest difficulty.
