Pathetic service

Extremely disappointed with Rawson Properties and the way our offer was handled by agent Fabian Oliphant. We viewed a property, submitted a FULL-PRICE offer and were already pre-approved. On Fabian's advice, we even reduced the price of our own property to help it sell faster. Then, for almost two weeks, communication basically disappeared. Calls and messages went unanswered while we believed our offer was still being dealt with. We eventually discovered ON OUR OWN through Property24 that the property was marked SOLD. Only after sending Fabian a screenshot were we told a cash offer had been accepted. We have absolutely no issue with the seller choosing a better cash offer. What we cannot accept is being left in the dark. Had we been informed, we could have pursued three other properties we were interested in instead of losing valuable time and opportunities. The experience left us feeling like we were simply being kept as a backup in case the other deal didn't go through. Fabian had also referred us to another Rawson agent to rent out our current property. After this experience and the loss of trust, we have cancelled that arrangement and will take our business elsewhere. Buying a home is a massive financial decision. Clients deserve transparency, communication and basic professional courtesy.
