Not honest work done
Dear Rautomech Team,
I want to express my deep frustration regarding my recent experiences with your service concerning my car.
Initially, I brought my car in for a suspected injector problem, which was confirmed. After paying for new injectors, I had the same issue just two days later. After receiving the car back again, I noticed a strong smell of petrol, leading us to discover a damaged petrol pipe caused by the work done at your shop. I immediately called the owner and was instructed to return the vehicle.
Upon returning, I expressed my concerns about the safety of my wife driving alone. Unfortunately, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. A couple of days later, the same misfiring problem occurred, and I found myself unhappy with the service. I booked the car in again and was quoted R57,051.52 for an engine overhaul, which I accepted, hoping for a permanent fix.
After about four months, the car returned, and while it initially seemed fine, the same problem reappeared after just a week. Each time I returned the car, it seemed there was a new issue, and communication from your team was lacking. I encountered attitude from staff when I expressed my frustration, which only added to my dissatisfaction.
Ultimately, I took the car to Audi, where I discovered multiple alarming issues, including non-original parts and tampered software. I also found discrepancies in the injectors and other components. Despite my attempts to address these issues with your team, I felt unheard and unsupported.
I understand that I needed to give your team a chance to resolve the problem, but after investing over R70,000 with little success, I can no longer trust your services. The car's value is approximately R150,000, yet I feel I've been continuously charged for solutions that did not address the core issues, such as wiring problems that were overlooked.
I plan to share my experience on social media to inform others about my situation. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as I believe it reflects poorly on your commitment to honest service.
