Dealt with Dean Human from rates07.co.za to register my municipal account after my new home purchase. Upon registration I noticed that I was being charged an additional water charge on my municipal bill despite living in a complex and paying for water as part of my body corporate bill. I immediately notified Dean about this who at first claimed that this was correct, but after showing him the previous owner and other residents in the complex’s bills proving that this was not the case he claimed to have logged the incident to the Roodepoort COJ offices. More than a year later of empty promises, failing to address my issues and and after paying THOUSANDS in incorrect municipal accounts my issue is still not resolved and Dean has advised that I have to resolve this problem on my own, a problem created upon the registration of my account which the previous owner of the property didn’t have and which he facilitated.

Deal with with rates07.co.za at your own peril. My municipal bill is a complete mess as a result.l and Dean has the audacity to say that “I should go and resolve the issue at the minicamp offices” despite paying him and his company to register my municipal account correctly and after more than a year of broken promises on his end. Absolutely appalling service.
