Company with some ***** business practices

This business has ***** practices. Basically they are happy to take your money and place an order with a projected delivery date. Once that date lapses they tell you that the item is on back order from their supplier with no ETA. Any reasonable person would cancel. That’s when they give you store credit and tell you that you are being placed on a ‘refund queue’. I’m assuming this is a tactic to try persuade you to find something else to spend the credit on to keep the money with them. It’s that or the company has some serious cash flow problems. Either way, you’re taking a big risk dealing with them. I am sitting on R5000 of credit that I want back from them with no answer on when this will be resolved.
