Poor customer service

<p>The name of the establishment is very vague. The display outside the building says "Rapid Tyre and Exhaust". The receipt says "PMB Rapid Silencer Shop". Another display says "Best Drive Allandale". The receipt also says "Kwik-Fit Safety Centre". It is very hard to tell what is the actual name of the establishment considering having seen 4 different names. </p> <p> </p> <p>Had a wheel rotation, wheel balancing and wheel alignment done. The price is steep: R360.00</p> <p>Long list of problems:</p> <p>1. Each of their employee had issues attending the customers. They wait around to be told what has to be done. </p> <p>2. They do not have standard operating procedure. Every employee has his/her own way of attending to a task. Often this led to arguements between them which wasted prescious time for customers. </p> <p>3. Wheel rotation was a big mess. They took the wheels of our vehicle and put them back on in the same order instead of rotation them back to front. They had to re-do it. Upon intervision they simply said "I am not the usual guy who does this job, they just called me in to do it". If they portay themselves as a professional service provider then they must start acting like one instead of having lame reasons and lame accusations.</p> <p>4. Wheel alignment was a much uglier issue. The staff were always walking between the sensors fitted to the wheels and the computer. As a result the computer kept losing signal to the sensors. The steering clamp was not used in order to allign the wheels. The assistant in training was doing the procedure whilst the main guy responsible was busy on the phone talking to someone about new jobs etc. Either of them were least interested to do a proper alignment. </p> <p>5. Once the so called alignment was completed, the results from the alignment computer were printed. The printout itself is a half job. looks like the printer was out of ink. none of the figures made sense since we could not read anything from the paper. </p> <p> </p> <p>It was the worst customer experience we have received from a tyre fitment centre in years. It took us about an hour to do a simple task. very unprofessional and not reliable. </p>
