STAY AWAY FROM RAPID RENTALS

You can forget to get your deposit back was charge R750 for a supervisor, R300 inspection fee also I am also charged to pain the entire unit 20Liters, not all the walls was needed to be printed. Who uses 30liters paint for a few marks. The walls couldn't even be washed they used cheap paint, looks like PVA. Rapid rentals came here with all the supplies but was charged R400 travel fee. My deposit was never in a trust, so no interest. Now I have to borrow money for deposit on my new place. How could they expect for tenants to live there for 2 years and have no marks on the wall.

I asked to them to give me the code for the paint, to paint the place myself they refused. Rapid rentals should be ashamed!!!!!

Everytime you renew your contract you get charged R350 contract Renewal fee.

BIGGEST ****MERS!!!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. STAY AWAY FROM RAPID RENTALS!!!

Hi Chene, First and foremost, we want to assure you that your deposit is held in a trust account in compliance with all relevant regulations. This trust account is interest-bearing, meaning that the deposit amount is invested in an account that generates interest over time.  If you ever wish to obtain information about the interest accrued on your deposit or receive a statement confirming its status, you are more than welcome to contact our office directly. We are here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your deposit, and we want to make the process as transparent and straightforward as possible.

Regarding the repairs that was done. We have done the moving-out inspection in comparison to your moving-in inspection. We have done repairs that was for your account only. According to your lease agreement, you had to ensure not to drive nails or other objects into any portion of the premises without the Landlord’s approval, therefore we had to remove the nails, cover the holes and we had to re-paint the walls on your account. We hope that you find above in order. Regards,Rapid Rentals Management

Well according to the move out inspection not ALL WALLS needed to be painted. How on earth do you Pay R1808.00 for 20 L paint. There is no way that 20 L of paint could 'have been used for for a few walls that needed to be painted. As ongoing I keep on requesting the slips for the purchases. and still no feedback. From my deposit of R7000.00 I only received back R2514.00. How is it possible for my deposit to only accumulate R2.88 a month.
