Rapid Rentals not an honest Company
This Rental company is only out to make money off the tenants, they do not care about the tenants and their feelings or situations. They kicked us out illigaly because our boss paid us late, no 30 day notification. We paid a damage deposit and now they're refusing to refund us. If you want to stay in Pretoria make sure you do not rent through this company. STAY AWAY FROM RAPID RENTALS MOOT, RIETFONTEIN, WAVERLEY AND SURROUNDINGS. THEY WILL ***** YOU OVER!!!

Kindly refer to the e-mail correspondence between Rapid Rentals and your lawyer - you were in the wrong.
Please refer them to section 5(3)(g) of the Rental Housing Act that “on the expiration of the lease, the landlord may apply such deposit and interest towards the payment of all amounts for which the tenant is liable for under the lease, including the reasonable cost of repairing damage to the dwelling during the lease period and the cost of replacing lost keys…”

This section specifically refers to ALL amounts owed by the tenant ie this includes rental and utilities.
