No refunds for rental property not approved

Rental property was viewed with Agent, deposit paid immediately to secure the property. I was informed that another client who also viewed the property \may be upset\" because they were also interested in the same property. The other client paid the deposit the next day. No feed back was given on further procedures, apparently because the owner now had to choose between the 2 applicants.<br> I canceled to rental interest due the unprofessionalism in which this was handled by Rapid Rentals.<br> <br> A refund was promised which is now a problem for them because of all kinds of excuses - the Account lady is not at work etc...<br> <br> ***!? They stipulate that 2 days after a transaction was done, they deduct R50 for their banking fees. What about my banking fees? (Plus the interest my money have gained in Their account)."
