DO NOT RENT THROUGH RAPID RENTALS! EVEN IF YOU THINK ITS THE ONLY CHOICE PLEASE DO NOT RENT THROUGH RAPID RENTALS

Rapid Rentals definitely works outside the legal framework of South African Law. It is the most ***********, unprofessional and down right rude people I have ever had the bad experience of engaging with. I previously rented a house through rapid rentals and will never do so again! To sum up: 1. Kiss your deposit goodbye! It does not matter how well you look after the place, or in my instance left it better than how the house was when I moved in. Rapid Rentals will find a way to take all of your deposit money. 2. Hidden clauses within the contract that even if you are an expert in contractual law you would not be able to find it. 3. The most rude staff in history. Do not think of calling the office with issues that Rapid Rentals have to deal with. You will only be met with extreme hostilities and vulgar language. 4. Rapid Rentals also manages the houses around the house I rented. I specifically asked how the neighbors were because I did not want any loud and noisy neighbors. To this question they ****. 4.1 House number 1 was rented out to a family where the wife physically and verbally abused her husband and children. I called rapid rentals and the police regarding this issue on a daily basis. 4.2 House number 2 was rented out to drug addicts who openly used drugs in and outside of the house. I called the police and rapid rentals regarding this on a daily basis. 4.3. House number 3 was rented out to a plumber that abused his wife and ***ually abused his children. It was so bad that the wife once jumped over the wall with almost no clothing on to try and escape the abuse. I called the police and rapid rentals regarding this on a daily basis. 4.4 Eventually when I do get hold of Rapid Rentals they literally responded with "Its not our problem" and the same goes to our police. 5. On the out going inspection the person who did the inspection outright **** to my face when he said that everything was fine and only a few cleaning up touches will be made. Only to be met with a long range of fabricated items that needed "Repair". They even charged me for repair on things that were broken on the move in inspection list. I cannot stress this enough. Please do not rent through Rapid Rentals. Even if you think they are the only option please do not rent through rapid rentals.
