Refund from Rantau Transport

I paid a deposit of R1000 in April upon rental of a vehicle which I didn't use. We went to collect the car and the rate that was discussed was higher than the one that we were given upon arrival. And as I request refund of deposit I was then told that they don't refund but rather they keep the money for when I rent a car again in future. I kept on asking refund whereby it was never given. I lately feel like I was ****med of my R1000 as I'm being told that I will never get it. There was nothing that was discussed in black and white that's why always they keep on changing stories. This company is busy ******** people imagine my money was taken and now they refuse to refund my money. Doing business with them was the biggest mistake I have ever done. Last week Friday I was asked to sent my banking details which I did sent them now today the 21st I have called I'm being told that I will never get the refund. The guy I have spoken to accused me of whitchcraft. How could he be so unprofessional and accuse me of such a thing. All I want is my refund that's all.
