Security issues at Randsteam Shopping centre Milpark

My car was broken into and my laptop bag ****** from the boot through the back seat rest on a weekday at 5pm at Randsteam shopping centre in Milpark,Johannesburg. The parking guards did not investigate the alarm while I could hear it from inside the Woolworths. When I got to the car the " parking attandants" were too busy directing cars into parking bags to bother about a car alarm that was screeching. The CCTV security operator Franco was unable to provide me with footage of the incident despite numerous call and messages to him. The policeman at the police station where I reported the incident informed me that ther have been numerous incidents at Randsteam and that no CCTV footage was provided. It seems that there is no real security for patrons at Randsteam and that the parking "attendants" are possibly not paid as they seem to only be looking for tips from patrons.
