Rand Aluminium bad installers with terrible customer service

<p>Rand aluminium were requested to supply Aluminium windows and doors (including aluminium garage doors) to the entire exterior of our property for a new house. Firstly to commence with the works we were expeted to 80% of the deposit and balance at completion which is unheard of in the construction industry. However during construction they would misintepret the brief and with lots of abortive by their own doing e.g They couldn't read the plans as for the study and guest bedroom (Ground floor) initially they installed fixed glass panels instead of sliding doors (when asked about fire safety hazzard / occupational certificate as there was no door leading to the exterior) , which in the beginning they blamed it on an unclear plan but as an installer prior to manufacture/installation it is your responsibility to confirm the correctness of the information . Prior to completion I got another email request for additional funds as they were unable to complete due to insuffcient funds, especially the garages (lack of financial management which reciprocates risk to the Client). As we were caught between a rock and hard place to complete we paid an additional money as per their request. Currently the house is complete a month later I had to get in the initial installer for the garage doors as they wouldn't open, beacuse the Owner of Rand Aluminium when I complained, knowing he was guilty he decided to act 'cry baby' that I'm harassing him yet with a new house you expect slight snags not such major impediments. Currently some folding stacking doors (design of the entire house is based on them) don't lock properly; don't close properly. U have to lift the doors to close and yet is within 2 months of completion. They couldn't remove the yellow taping claiming is the builder's responsibility.. After all of the above the incumbent had an audecity to send me a festive season message.</p> <p> </p>
