Brakes not working and Replacement unacceptable

Good day.

I bought a Raleigh bicycle for my son. His first bike ever. Firstly the brakes was broken. So they had to replace it. My son had to wait two weeks right after he got his first bike for that to be fixed.

Once we got the bicycle back. It looks like they have now replaced it with adult biicycle brakes.. because it is way up high.. his small fingers cant even reach it when holding the handles. Isn't the Brakes the most important part of the bicycle. Not even to mention the wheels can move because the setting is to tight there as well.

I am very very Disappointed. I bought a Totem bicycle for my daughter and have not had any problem since we bought it. My son prefers riding his sister's bicycle because his is just not good.

I now have to take the bicycle back again.. to wait again two weeks and have it not fixed property again. Why?

I am really disappointing.
