OK Furniture Outstanding Account

Hi I hope you can assist I had an OK-Furniture account which I knew I owed R1068.00 but unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances this account was handed over so for almost a year or so nobody made contact me with me hence on the 27th July 2019 I went into one of the OK Furniturw stores to inquire about the balance and on the system it showed 0.00 as an instalment but when the lady went into the account memo it showed I owed R1068.00 than emmediately she phoned to find out what the balance was the lady than at Rainbow Finance could not give me a balance as she said this account was handed over so my argument was in the past year nobody phoned me to find out what the reason was as to why I did not make payment on this account until recently where I received calls from the external collections department Durban Collections Office to remind me off payment and when will I make a payment this I feel that on the 27th of July I paid a R1068.00 which was my last balance suddenly according to the collections company I am 900.00 due and today in the 01/10/2019 I received a call from a collecting agent stating that If I don't make a payment they will collect my fridge but as this I found as a treat because the day I went to settle my account that was the amount I was given R1068.00
