I bought Items at House and Home Richards Bay (STAY AWAY FROM THAT BRANCH - RUDE STAFF AND MANAGER IS EVEN WORSE) and it was financed through Rainbow Finance at the insistance of House And Home, When I queried why a settlement amount is higher than the outstanding amount the "response / explanation" from Koos Albrecht was because they charge interest at a daily rate upon the interest that is already charged when the contract is signed. When I pointed out that the contract already included Interest, I received a lame response that "it is what it is".... Koos Albrecht also stated that if I settle earlier or pay more every month then the interest will be less. He merely insinuated that that is the way they do it and I must accept it and not query it as I am "JUST" the client and that I do not have the intelligence to be allowed to query this......... REALLY????

When I queried this, the attitude of Koos Albrecht and other staff members (Names whom I will willingly make available) were totally arrogant and a total "**** You" attitude to any customer complaint.

Elana Stander emailed me and stated that they will only respond if and when they feel like responding to my accusations and claims. As Far as I am concerned both House and Home and Rainbow Financing are all *******.
