Disgusting Service

TAPE a subsidiary of Railway where I purchased Diesel sneakers. These shoes were worn only once when there be on the heel started peeling off. I took the sneakers back to the shop for an exchange as it was clearly obvious that the shoes had a fault. The rudest affordable members at the shop asked if I had the slip. I told them that the slip had been misplaced as the shoes were only bought in January. I had a bank statement that displayed the proof of purchase as they were bought via eft. They then told me that the bank statement won't be of assistance as they required a number that was on the slip. They further told me that they could not retrieve the particular month in question slips. I got hold of their regional manager who then said that he would be able to assist me. He requested that I bring the shoes so that he can inspect them. I did as he said and he said that he will take the shoes to the manufacturer and get back to me in a couple of days. He called me the following day saying that it is unfortunate that he won't be able to assist me, going back to the point that I did not have the slip with me and the shoes were worn. He further said that he will give me a 10% discount on anything that I plan to buy at the shop. How disappointing is their service. I am utterly furious to say the least that we purchase shoes at what is suppose to be reputable retail outlets to receive such treatment and sticking service and to also be told such lies. The staff member even said to me that how can he sell the shoes when they have already been worn. TAPE store isn't a shop to be recommended to anyone but to warn them against. Never again will I go to that store and I will make sure to tell every individuals about their filthy service and the products they sell.
